Paper structure

Every IGLC paper follows the structure of the template:

  1. Title (at most 90 characters), in the Title style.
  2. Authors, with full names and no titles, each followed by exactly one footnote with professional title, affiliation, email address and ORCID iD (several affiliations go in the same footnote, separated by semicolons). Use XXXX placeholders while the paper is under review. See Content requirements for two family names, family name first and single names.
  3. Abstract (at most 200 words, no references) and Keywords (up to five).
  4. Introduction, then the sections your paper needs, usually ending with conclusions and acknowledgements.
  5. References, in APA 7th edition.
  6. The submission checklist from the end of the template, ticked. It does not count towards the 12-page limit.

The headings Abstract, Keywords, Introduction and References are mandatory. Leave the headers and footers as they are: the IGLC fills them in at publication. See Content requirements and Formatting requirements for the details, and check your paper on the Check your paper page.
