IGLC paper authors transfer the copyright of their papers to the Editor(s) of the Conference Proceedings upon acceptance for publication. However, authors retain all propriety rights (such as patent rights) in their papers other than the copyright transferred to the proceeding Editor(s).

Once papers have been published in the Proceedings of an IGLC Conference and on IGLC.net, the authors have the right to republish them, in whole or part, in any publication of which they are authors or editors, and to make any other personal use of the papers. Any republication or personal use of the work must explicitly identify prior publication in the corresponding proceedings, including page numbers and DOI reference.

IGLC papers can be freely distributed as long as they are kept in their original form. Specifically, it is not necessary to request permission to add IGLC papers into institutional repositories, neither from the IGLC nor from the proceeding editors.
