Osaka and Kyoto, Japan, 2-8 June, 2025
The International Group for Lean Construction (IGLC: www.iglc.net) is an international network of researchers from practice and academia in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) who feel that the practice, education, and research of the AEC industry must be radically renewed to respond to global challenges.
Researchers from Industry and Academia in the AEC industry and related fields are invited to submit papers on Lean Construction research and applications for presentation at the IGLC33 in Kyoto.
The topics discussed at the conference have varied with the evolution of lean construction research and due to contextual factors. This year, we especially encourage papers focusing on the following themes:
Papers can be submitted to the following tracks:
Accepted papers will be presented as oral presentations and published in the conference proceedings. IGLC proceedings are Scopus-indexed and free to access at iglc.net/Papers.
Due to the shorter review period this year, no general deadline extensions will be available for IGLC33. Authors may apply for extensions on a case-by-case basis; however, applications will not be considered once a deadline has passed.
Note: We strongly advise authors needing visas for travel to Japan to avoid requesting extensions and to submit before deadlines to ensure a timely review for visa applications.
